My name is Sabina, and I’m beyond thrilled to be starting my blogging journey with Culture N Cocktails! Random fact…. this is the motto for all my trips! I love visiting new places, meeting new people, eating and drinking where and what the locals do – truly immersing myself in the culture of a place. Some of my favorite memories are of my husband and I just wandering through towns/cities and stopping into random places to grab a cocktail or a good glass of wine. We always ask the local bartender or server what their favorites are and what we must try. This method hasn’t failed us yet!
I’m a sucker for a nice hotel – great linens, intoxicating scents and luxurious toiletries lure me in every time. I found that as I was planning vacations, I was finding tons of resources for “inexpensive travel”, but it was much more difficult to find good reviews of some higher end itineraries. I’m all for a good deal – trust me, but I also have traveled enough for business and pleasure to know that I’m a discerning traveler in my mid-40’s. I am guessing there are others like me out there and figured sharing my experiences would be both enjoyable and perhaps helpful!
